These photos of red campions flowering in woodland on the Norfolk Coast are a fantastic reminder of what Meadowmat is all about......making sure that our native wild flowers can be enjoyed by generations to come.
Thanks go to Robert Allen, Meadowmat's Production Manager who took these pictures on one of his many foray's to the coast. It's a shame pictures can't reproduce sound. According to Robert, the area was teeming with bees.

The crushed seeds of red campion have historically been used to treat snake bites.
Several species of moth feed on the foliage and the nectar is enjoyed by bumblebees and butterflies.
